Robber Flies of Colorado |
|
Based on Fisher and Wilcox's Catalog 1997 (unpublished). Not all species have been verified but should occur based on presently known geographies. Subtribes are not shown. The Backomyia species is listed as limpidipennis though this genus is in need of revision. A species was photographed in bugguide in CO. There are multiple undescribed species in CA but only two defined outside CA for now. The large Efferia genus has been split into new genera by South American Asilid scientist Jorge Artigas. This split is not accepted by all fly guys apparently. I have put the new genera in [ ] under that genus. |
